Weddings and More Weddings

The business keeps expanding.

Caryn Azure has truly hooked me up.  I’m signed on now to photograph five more weddings with her, two of which occur during the next two Saturdays.  Then, beginning in May, she’s booked three weddings where I alone am the principle photographer.  I can’t wait.  I’m scared to death, but I can’t wait.

Who knows where this avenue will lead.  I know where I hope it could go.  Imagine if I could support myself by taking pictures at twenty, thirty, or even forty weddings over the course of a year.  As long as my profit margin stayed above $1000 dollars a wedding I could support myself.  I’d even be making more than I make now teaching at the school.

On top of that what if I continued to teach, but only took three classes a day.  The school could cover my insurance and perhaps give me free housing as they do now, but other than that they wouldn’t have to pay me anything.  It could really relieve some of the school’s financial pressure.

Who knows where if anywhere the Lord might choose to take this.  I don’t know, I’m simply along for the ride.  What an amazing ride it’s been so far.
